| We provided signals intelligence support to the 1st Brigade(Separate), 5th Infantry Division (Mechanized), deployed at firebases along the DMZ, RVN, 1968 - 1972 |

| The unit deployed with the 1/5th from Fort Carson, Colorado, in the Summer of 1968 utilizing elements of the 352d Army Security Agency Company. We remained after the 1/5th redeployed in the Fall of 1971 as Detachment A, 8th Radio Research Field Station. We continued to provide support to American interests until the North Vietnamese Army (NVA) launched the Easter Offensive of 1972 ultimately rendering the unit "ineffective". |
