A crisp, snappy hand salute to the men of 
F Battery, 26th Artillery, who had the daunting task of "target acquisition" from the observation towers at the firebases along the DMZ, at the same time being obvious targets of snipper fire.
After having visited several other veterans web sites, photos of the former DMZ taken by return visitors to Con Thien, indicates this view looking North across the Ben Hai river remains virtually unchanged to this day.
